Until recently, I had an aversion to eating kiwi because I couldn't stomach eating a food with hair on it...
"Just peel it!" NO, because the little hairs get on the green part of the fruit. "Just wash it!" NO, because then the richness of the fruit just becomes blah and bland. "Just spoon it out!" NO, I end up leaving more kiwi on the sides than eating it.
Then I discovered this little tool, in a bulk box of kiwi. It works perfectly for the task it's designed for. The knife end of it is dull enough to safely pack, while the spoon end of it just sharp enough so that it perfectly scrapes the insides of the kiwi- no fruit wasted.
