There was something similar to this at IIDEX this year, it was a round table though and it wasn't quite paper, but a stack of sheets of something that felt kind of like linoleum or some other sort of polymer. It was at the Steelcase lounge and people were invited to sit and sketch what they thought design would be in 25 years on this round table, using coloured sharpies.
