Bodystorming is a great tool for designing. In essence you're role playing. As a designer it's important to understand what people are or could potentially be experiencing. Since we want to improve and add to the quality of life for others and ourselves, being interactive adds to our empathy. Here's a video that a company (I think) posted on vimeo for bdystorming housework by an elderly person in a liftchair. I think this is a good example of bodystorming and exploration.
