Okay, I came across
this short article about the 6 'wows' of Windows 7. Tey're not that wowing really, but what I did find interesting were the little tidbits of how Microsoft employed Industrial Designers as design thinkers to help their software engineers and architects come up with innovative new features, or to streamline features they had already been working on.
Just a little more evidence in case you're not already convinced that broader, design thinking and systems design are the big markets for IDs. Surely by the end of this year we'll all have those skills down packed, right?
