If you haven't heard of OLEDs, now is the time to be introduced to them. This type of display which is a step beyond the LED, displays darker darks, brighter brights, and it does it all with less energy than traditional LEDs. However, one of the most exciting aspects of this new technology is the sheer thinness of OLED displays with the capacity to create screens that can be flexible and bendable that can be incorporated into things such as clothing. As with any new technology, cost is the main barrier, however, that is quickly coming down with several existing products already using the technology, from the new Zune to new displays from Sony.
